Shark Mark Cuban Calls Metaverse Land Buyers ‘Dumb’
Mark Cuban is a well-known Shark on Shark Tank USA. He is a real estate investor and once bought an entire town of Mustang in Texas, USA, claiming it was a favour to a friend. So it is quite surprising that someone big on real estate is calling metaverse land buying the “dumbest sh*t ever.”
According to Mark, he would be less averse to the risks involved in the business if a ‘real’ community was built in a place that would help him determine the property’s perceived value. Mark claims that traditional real estate property rules cannot apply in the metaverse, especially when and because it is not proven.
At the moment, certain metaverse platforms like Decentraland and Sandbox already permit investors to buy land as NFT and create experiences in it or develop them as property.

Emirates, a popular airline, will build brand experiences in the metaverse. They will also launch utility-based and collectable non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Emirates introduced virtual reality (VR) technology more than five years ago on its website and app.
It gave customers an interactive, 3D, 360-degree view of the aircraft’s cabin interior.

Romanian Post Celebrates 160th Anniversary with NFT Launch.
The Romanian Post is the official postal service of Romania. The Romanian Post intends to mark its 160th anniversary with an NFT collection in the form of digital stamps.
The project will feature 160 NFTs in total, and 10 of these NFTs will be auctioned at the Romanian National History Museum with a starting price of 160 euros each. The funds that will be gotten from this auction will be given to the Casa Sperantei Hospice Foundation to benefit its patients.
“We are talking about a limited series of 160 NFTs, symbolizing the age of the Romanian Post, virtual graphic creations with a market value that is supposed to increase,” the official statement said.
