Sam Bankman has been given some time off to meet with his lawyers before going back to police custody. Prosecutors have also drafted a set of instructions for the jury to follow in the same case. Get the details below.
Sam Bankman Is Set To Meet His Lawyers
Lewis Kaplan, the judge that will be overseeing Sam’s trial in October has allowed him to meet with his lawyers according to a court filing dated 21st August. The duration for his release will last six and a half hours starting from 8:30 am to 3 pm.
The judge has also permitted his lawyers to enter the courtroom with a Wifi device and a laptop that can connect to the Wifi source. He however allowed one of each. No other matters or requests by Sam’s lawyer will be accepted with a request for a meeting on the 22nd being declined as well as spending time outside of jail on weekdays only.

Prosecutors Provide Instructions On How Jury Will Behave During The October Trial
The prosecutors have submitted a 100-page filing that indicates how Judge Lewis and the jury will address the charges that Sam faces. The instructions were submitted on the same day that Sam’s release was granted and the trial will be held in October.
