Top-ranked whale buys $11 million worth of SHIB
As reported by WhaleStats in their recent tweet, a top 5 crypto investor named Gimli after a character of Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” novel. This whale, whose portfolio is dominated by Ethereum, purchased a staggering amount of Shiba Inu in one transaction.
He purchased 442,637,867,858 SHIB, which contains $11,561,701.
The website of this wallet says Gimli now holds $38,184,560 worth of SHIB.
For Gimli’s other crypto holdings, he owns most of them to do with Metaverses: Tesla, Tiketto, McDonald’s, Windows, Wal-Mart, and Twitter DAO, SWIFT, DAO, etc.
SHIB represents 17.42% of the top 100 Ethereum whales’ portfolios, which equals $1,558,453,796 in fiat. FTX token (FTT) has the largest value in U.S. dollars, followed by Shiba Inu.
New SHIB whale emerges with 442.6 billion tokens.
U.Today reported that a crypto investor bought 442,637,867,858 SHIB and became the world’s largest SHIB investor. $11,969,061 is the value of the second most valuable canine cryptocurrency.
As part of a similar scheme, U.Today covered the purchase of 3,457,477,154,937 SHIB by an investor in early February, becoming a new whale. That amount of crypto cost him $115,998,358.
A 4.11% decline is being recorded by Shiba Inu at the $0.00002552 level, the 14th-ranked cryptocurrency as of this writing. In terms of weekly price statistics, the increase was 20.64%.
