In Twitter ‘X’ rebrand, the XRP community finds interesting facts.
Elon Musk’s decision to change his Twitter handle to “X” is getting responses from all over. Twitter owner and Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed a new Twitter logo as part of a platform revamp over the weekend, choosing a “minimalist art deco” X.
Musk asked his 149.2 million followers for logo ideas, and a flickering video pinned to the top of his Twitter account on Sunday looks to have been the one he selected.
The choice appeared to have been made now, as suggested by Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino’s tweet on Monday.
Twitter’s CEO tweeted, “X is here! Let’s do this.” The new Twitter “X” logo has captured the XRP community’s attention, particularly because it resembles the XRP logo.
In reaction to Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino’s tweet, XRP community member and Twitter influencer “XRPcryptowolf” noted striking comparisons between the “X” logos of XRP and Twitter.

The Twitter “X” logo was shared by the Twitter CEO in a thread. “XRPcryptowolf” highlighted the similarities by posting the XRP logo on a dark background and the Twitter “X” logo.
Elon Musk has a longstanding obsession with the “X” symbol, which also serves as the name of the “everything app” he has promised to launch, probably through Twitter. Before buying it in October, he referred to Twitter as “an accelerant to creating X, the everything app.”
The Ripple lawsuit ruling has been a hot topic in recent days. Elon Musk, the founder of Twitter, recently addressed it in an episode of The All-In Podcast, where the hosts also talked about Ripple’s recent win over the SEC. Musk praised the program in a tweet that he posted on his profile and added the comment, “Good podcast.”
