The trial date for Ripple vs SEC has officially been chosen after a document surfaced. Get the full details below.

Eleanor Terret, a distinguished correspondent from Fox Business has revealed in an X (formerly Twitter) a post a document that had been shared by the SEC. Judge Torres, one of the judges in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, received the document from the regulatory firm.

The document revealed that there are a series of dates when the trial can take place in the second quarter of 2024. The SEC has stated that it is ready to go to trial in April, May, and June. There are dates in these months that will not be fit for the trial. They include April 15th to 19th, May 1st to 7th, and May 27th to 31st.

Ripple and the SEC agreed to have the trial in the 2nd quarter of the year. The two Ripple CEO Executives, Brad Garlinghouse and Chris Larsen,  told Judge Torres that they would not be available from April 1st to April 14. U. Today also reports that the trial will commence on April 20th, 2024.

The SEC had appealed after being unsatisfied with the partial victory that Ripple had been granted in the hearing in July. Ripple has been given up to 1st September to file its concerns and any motions that would otherwise stop the case from going forward.
