Dr John Forsyth ONFO Coin Co-Founder And “Bitcoin Millionaire” Found Dead

Dr John Forsyth ONFO Coin Co Founder And Bitcoin Millionaire Found Dead

After a week-long search, the body of Dr John Forsyth has been discovered, but according to reports, authorities believe there was no sign of foul play. About a week after going missing, the co-founder of the referral-based cryptocurrency project ONFO coin, was found dead from what seemed to be a gunshot wound. However, investigators do not immediately suspect foul play.

Emergency department doctor and crypto advocate Dr John Forsyth went missing on May 21 after failing to show up for work at the Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri. Soon after, his family posted a social media plea for information concerning his whereabouts.

Richard Forsyth, his younger brother, told the Daily Beast at the time that John Forsyth wouldn’t miss a shift, so it was “an immediate red flag.”

On May 28, police found Forsyth’s vehicle parked less than a mile from the hospital.

The unlocked car included Forsyth’s wallet, passport, laptop, and business briefcase. “His cell phones were inside,” his brother said, “which also makes it very uncharacteristic because he always has his cell phone.”

On May 30, Richard Forsyth told the Associated Press, “It doesn’t seem like a person who left with a plan.”

But John Forsyth’s body, which appeared to have been shot, was founded on May 30 around an hour south of where he was last seen. According to the local police, foul play doesn’t seem to be a factor.

In 2020, the 49-year-old and his brother Richard created ONFO coin. The cryptocurrency initiative allegedly enables users to “mine” networks to earn coins by recommending people to the platform.

Videos like “THE U S DOLLAR IS DOOMED,” which was uploaded on YouTube in 2021, show how the U.S. dollar is doomed as a means of self-promotion for ONFO. However, it has been a year since a new video was posted.

John Forsyth, a math undergraduate who was introduced to Bitcoin and blockchain technologies at a young age, was dubbed a “Bitcoin millionaire” by Forbes in 2020.

Forsyth joins a line of crypto entrepreneurs and supporters who have passed away mysteriously.

Bob Lee, the architect of the Cash App and the previous executive in charge of technology at Square, was stabbed to death in April. On April 13, authorities made an arrest, although they made no comments on the reason behind the assault.
