BitKeep wallet: past issues
Moreover, BitKeep has previously faced hackers. According to a report on crypto.news, the wallet lost $1 million in October after the platform’s swap feature was taken over.
The developers of the wallet were attempting to stop the attack, however, BitKeep assured the victims that all of them would receive their money back after the crisis will be over.
BitKeep is not the only victim of a recent breach. On November 28, hackers broke Whatsapp’s database and auctioned off 500 million Whatsapp numbers to Dark Web.
