FLOKI responds to allegations and rumours in the cryptocurrency marketplace. Here’s why
FLOKI recently took to X to address allegations and suspicions circulating in the crypto world, as well as to caution its users against scams leveraging on its brand name and reputation.
FLOKI’s official Twitter handle @RealFlokiInu denied any link with PetabyteCapital and emphasized that PetabyteCapital never co-founded the FLOKI token.
The tweet read,
“We would like to make it clear that PetabyteCapital is not and was NEVER a FLOKI co-founder. #Floki is a community project in the true sense of the word and has never had a founder or co-founder.”
This announcement followed repeated reports of people or entities misleading the popular cryptocurrency to capitalize on its brand value. These false claims may be used to hype their projects and programs.
The FLOKI team also stated that if they were to issue a new coin, they would certainly do so first through their official channels. It advised readers to perform their own research (DYOR) and use credible, official sources.
This warning comes in the wake of a post from Whale Chart’s Twitter account @WhaleChart, which accused PetabyteCapital of peddling scams and fraudulently claiming to be a FLOKI co-founder.
